Oh, well, I guess that's fine then. I didn't know about that.

Why do you name the sea Sea of Japan (East Sea) with parenthesis? Shouldn't that come into alt_name? And isn't that name only used locally? I don't think Americans or in my case Belizean would ever refer to that as the East Sea. It's always been Sea of Japan to me.

Hi, we don't really use the place= tag on relations anymore. instead we use the border_type= tag. This is the tag that determines what the relation is called when selecting it on the map. https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OpenHistoricalMap/Tags/Key/border_type

I couldn't find the discussion on the forum.

Ok, I fixed that border change now

Ok, thanks for the heads up.

Look, this village was founded in 1892 when it was still part of Germany, that's why the name is in German. To put a Polish name you would have to find when the village became part of Poland or when it was renamed and create another village with that start_date and give this village an end_date. If you would like more help, I'd be glad to help you.

Thanks, I didn't know about the File ‣ Download parent ways/relations option. I'll be using this to cut boundaries from now on.

Yeah, sorry about that. Will see if I can fix some of the boundaries.
